Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious double room with a luxurious bathroom that included a jacuzzi; the best part was the convenient location, just a short 5-minute walk from the Gallery. 

It was central.

The lifts were poor, and there were signs that the hotel is tatty and in need of a refit.

Overall levels of service were very good and I would like to commend in particular, the doorman who was on the late shift on Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st. He was extremely friendly, highly professional and most welcoming. 

The rooms were huge and fabulous, with comfy bunks and a fridge. the breakfast had lots of food options, including appetising pastries and fresh fruit.

Great location and very convenient. I definitely recommend staying here. 👍

Great central position, room spotlessly clean & comfortable, parking on premises was a bonus.

Passenger lifts were very slow & very noisy. Television was very dated ,with poor signal.

Room was very comfortable and location near beach and shopping but also in a quiet location was very good

ability to open windows was very restricted and no air conditioning so room was hot and stuffy on hot days. I paid £160 per night which I thought was a bit steep

Stayed for 2 nights and dined at the restaurant by the beach. the food was fantastic, and the staff were really nice. the beds were super cozy, and the view of the city skyline 

Recently renovated room featuring a beautiful view of the city skyline, alongside a karaoke bar that offers affordable drinks.

We really enjoyed the quaintness of the old world feel with all the modern technology. It was a perfect melding of the old and the new. The food was delicious and the service was very good. 

Great location, great breakfast

Bedroom was very tired and in need of a re-fit. Carpets had holes in paint was pealing off of ceilings and bathroom was disgusting ! I didn't expect another room being a bank holiday when I reported it to staff but a 'shrug' of shoulders wasn't appreciated by the receptionist, although she did say sorry.

The room I got was clean, spacious, and had extra beds, as well as nice toiletries and a fridge.

This place is a fantastic high-class venue, located right in the heart of the town, and the services here are top-notch.
